You'd figure they'd have to stop through Blaine's Pub and San Angelo or it wouldn't be much of a bike tour. Just kidding. This is one of the most original, authentic and enjoyable musical events in a decade. Ben Nichols/Oliver Peck 2018 Bikeriders Tour
Wednesday evening, Aug. 15 at Blaine's Pub in downtown, San Angelo is going to get a treat. The 2018 Bikeriders Western Tour comes to town. Lucero's Ben Nichols performs and is introduced by famed tattoo artist Oliver Peck. Nate Hall opens.
One year earlier this decade, Ben loaded up his motorcycle and rode solo down the road performing a couple of shows along the way. Then Oliver Peck said he very quickly attached himself to this idea and decided to join him.
That was 2012. Today, the Bikeriders tour has become a welcome tradition for fans of Lucero and tattoos.
Ben is the head guy and one of the founders of the band Lucero, the alternative rock band launched in 1998 in Memphis. Oliver is a tattoo artist. He is best known, to most anyway, as one of the judges on Ink Master, the show on Spike TV. He is also the co-owner of the Elm Street Tattoo in Deep Ellum of his hometown of Dallas.
This is the 2018 Bikeriders Western Tour and it's coming to Blaine's Pub.
